  Draw my OC's Contest! Cash Prize! Here we go again! My annual contest has arrived! I skipped a year just because of being busy, so this year i'm back on track! 
Idea


In this contest, you can draw one or more of my OC's for a chance to win points and/or art!
Be sure to carefully read the reference sheet in its entirety to get an understanding of the OC's personality and markings. You have a better chance of winning if you draw them accurately. 

Here's the characters you can draw! You can draw anyone you would like from any folder except for the "for sale" folder. The personalities and what not are linked on the website linked below!

Title taken from a favourite J. K. Rowling quote, my entry** features Kit's fursona Crossy arriving at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the first time across the lake! She is a massive Harry Potter fan, and I think being able to experience this would be a dream come true for her!
Originally I was just going to have one pose, her on the boat, but I felt like there wasnt enough focus on her actual character; and after all, the contest was supposed to be "draw my OCs" lol So I added the headshot at the top, and the piece became more of a collage sort of thing, complete with a faint Ravenclaw crest in the background.
I drew Crossy in her Ravenclaw scarf, and I attempted a more detailed colouring of fur texture to try and add some depth! The boat is roughly based off the design of the lake boats in the first film! There ended up being about 20 different layers for the castle, and I used 3 different ref pics to try and be as true to the movie design as possible.

Anyways, I am going to take this opportunity to be immensely proud of myself for once; because I fucking LOVE how this came out!! I really hope you like it, , and I hope I did Crossy justice!!


**Every element in this piece is drawn by hand from scratch!! I have some process screenshots for the unbelieving skeptics...because I mean hell, I don't even believe I did this myself!! lol   

(THIS IS OFFICIALLY THE LONGEST I HAVE EVER WORKED ON AN ART PIECE EVER. Almost 6 days straight!)
